I tried paragliding in Solang Valley in June 2025, and it was honestly the highlight of my Manali trip. Sharing my experience so future travelers can plan better:
🎯 Cost of Paragliding in Solang Valley (2025)
I paid ₹2,500 for the short/medium flight (about 5–7 minutes).
The long/high-altitude flight (10–15 minutes) was quoted at around ₹3,500–₹4,000.
Prices vary depending on the season: in peak summer (May–June) and winter (Dec–Jan), the rates are higher, while in shoulder seasons you might get ₹500–₹700 less.
🪂 What’s Included
The cost included:
Harness + helmet + safety gear
Basic safety briefing
A trained pilot (tandem ride)
Return jeep ride back up to the take-off point
Photos/videos on GoPro were extra—around ₹500–₹700 depending on the operator.
🌤️ Best Time in 2025
I went in summer, and the weather was perfect with clear skies. Locals told me that in winter, paragliding shifts from Solang Valley to Marhi or Bir Billing depending on snow, so definitely check before you go.
💡 Tips from My Experience
Book directly at the Solang Valley site instead of through agents in Manali Mall Road—they usually quote higher.
Bargain politely if you’re in a group; we got a small discount since 3 of us went together.
Carry some cash because online payments/UPI sometimes fail due to weak network.
Always check the operator’s license and safety record before flying.
✅ My Verdict
For me, spending around ₹2,500–₹3,000 was totally worth it for the thrill and the views of the snow peaks and lush valley below. If you’re traveling to Manali in 2025 and love adventure, paragliding in Solang Valley is a must-do.
