Hi everyone,
I’m planning a trip to Singapore soon and I’m a bit confused about the visa requirements for Indian citizens. I’ve been reading different things online—some say Indians need a visa in advance, while others mention that there are options for visa-free transit if you’re traveling onward to another country.
Here’s my situation:
I’m an Indian passport holder.
I’ll be traveling from Hyderabad to Singapore.
Planning to stay for about 5–6 days purely for tourism (sightseeing, exploring Marina Bay Sands, Gardens by the Bay, Sentosa, etc.).
I don’t have any onward flight yet as I plan to return back to India after the trip.
So my questions are:
Do I need to apply for a visa beforehand, or is there any visa-on-arrival option for Indians?
If I need a visa, what’s the easiest way to apply from India? (Through the official website, VFS, or travel agents?)
How long does the processing usually take, and is it a single or multiple-entry visa?
Any tips on documents I should prepare to avoid rejection?
Would love to hear from fellow travelers who have recently visited Singapore from India. Any guidance or personal experience would really help me plan better.
Thanks in advance!
