I’ll be visiting Singapore soon and while I know Orchard Road is famous for its huge malls and luxury shopping, I’m actually more interested in exploring local markets that give a more authentic vibe. I’d love to browse through places where locals shop for clothes, accessories, handicrafts, or even street food.
Are there any traditional or neighborhood markets that are worth visiting apart from the Orchard Road malls? I’m also curious if there are any night markets or weekend flea markets where I can pick up unique souvenirs, try some local snacks, or just soak in the atmosphere.
Any recommendations for such markets, along with tips on what not to miss, would be super helpful.
