Hi everyone,
I’ll be traveling to Singapore soon and I’m trying to plan my trip on a budget. Since Singapore is known to be a bit on the expensive side, I was wondering if there are any free or low-cost activities that budget travelers like me shouldn’t miss.
I’ve heard about places like Gardens by the Bay (free outdoor areas) and walking around Marina Bay Sands in the evening, but I’d love to know more hidden gems or authentic local experiences that don’t cost much.
Some specific things I’m curious about:
Free attractions or cultural experiences worth visiting
Best neighborhoods or areas for a nice walk/exploration
Budget-friendly spots for photography (cityscapes, nature, or heritage)
Festivals or events that might be happening which don’t require an entry fee
Also, is it possible to enjoy things like Sentosa Island or nature trails without spending too much?
Would really appreciate suggestions from those who have been there as budget travelers. Any tips to save money on transport or food would also be super helpful.
Thanks in advance!
