I’m planning a short trip to Singapore and I’m considering staying in a capsule hotel instead of a regular hotel to save on costs and also experience something unique. I’ve never tried capsule hotels before, so I’m a bit unsure.
For those of you who have stayed in capsule hotels in Singapore:
Are they comfortable for a few nights’ stay, especially for solo travellers?
How safe are they in terms of keeping your belongings secure? Do they usually provide lockers or storage facilities?
Is there enough privacy inside the capsules, or does it feel too cramped and noisy?
How about cleanliness and maintenance — do they change the bedding regularly and keep the shared bathrooms hygienic?
Would you recommend them over budget hostels or 2–3 star hotels in Singapore?
I’d love to hear about your personal experiences — both positives and negatives — before I book. Thanks in advance!
