I’m planning a family trip to Singapore soon, and one of the top attractions on my list is Gardens by the Bay. While I’ve seen plenty of photos of the Supertree Grove and the Cloud Forest, I’m wondering if this place is equally enjoyable for kids or if it’s more geared towards adults.
My kids are 7 and 10 years old, and they usually enjoy interactive activities, outdoor spaces, and anything that feels a little adventurous. From what I understand, Gardens by the Bay has the Flower Dome, Cloud Forest, light shows at night, and some outdoor gardens. But will children really find these exciting, or is it more of a sightseeing and photography spot for grown-ups?
Also, I heard something about a Children’s Garden with water play areas—is that worth including in the plan? Do they need extra tickets for that, or is it part of the main entry?
If any parents have taken their kids there, I’d love to hear your experience. How much time should we allocate for a family visit, and is it better to go in the evening for the light show or during the day to explore everything?
Any tips on making it fun and engaging for children would be super helpful!
