Hi everyone,
I’ll be visiting Singapore soon and I’m trying to finalize my itinerary. I keep coming across recommendations for the Singapore Botanic Gardens (the UNESCO World Heritage Site), but I’m not sure if I should prioritize it.
I’ll only have about 2–3 days in the city and already have spots like Marina Bay Sands, Gardens by the Bay, Chinatown, Sentosa, and Little India on my list. Since time is a bit tight, I’m wondering whether the Botanic Gardens are a “must-see” experience or something that could be skipped without much regret.
A few questions for those who have been:
How much time do you realistically need to explore the gardens and the National Orchid Garden?
Is it better in the morning/evening for the weather and atmosphere?
For someone who enjoys nature but also wants to balance cultural and city highlights, does it add something unique compared to other attractions in Singapore?
Would you recommend it only if I have more days, or is it truly worth squeezing in even with a tight schedule?
Any personal experiences, pros/cons, or tips would be super helpful!
Thanks in advance 😊
