Hi everyone,
I’ll be visiting Singapore soon, and while I know it’s famous for being a modern city with skyscrapers, shopping districts, and nightlife, I’m more of a nature and outdoors person. I was wondering — is Singapore all city, or are there actually places where you can hike and enjoy some greenery?
I’m not expecting long mountain treks like in other countries, but I’d love to know if there are trails, nature reserves, or parks where I could do a proper walk or hike. Do locals or tourists usually go hiking in Singapore, or is it more about city attractions?
If you’ve been there, could you recommend:
Any popular hiking trails or nature reserves worth exploring?
How easy it is to reach them using public transport?
Whether these hikes are more like leisure walks or if some are moderately challenging?
Best times of day to hike, considering Singapore’s weather.
I’d really appreciate tips from those who have actually gone hiking in Singapore. Thanks in advance!
