Does anyone know if it’s possible to extend my tourist visa while I’m in Colombo itself, and what the process looks like? Do I need to visit the Department of Immigration in person, or can I apply online? Also, how many days in advance should I apply for the extension, and what documents (passport, photos, proof of funds, return ticket, etc.) are required? Lastly, how much does the extension usually cost, and is it straightforward or should I expect long waiting times? Would love to hear from anyone who has done this recently — any tips or personal experiences would be super helpful!”
