Hi everyone, I’m planning a trip to Sri Lanka in late 2025 and I’m a bit confused about the entry requirements. Do travelers still need to fill out an arrival card before entering the country, or has it gone fully digital now? I’ve read some older posts mentioning paper cards at the airport, while others say there’s an online Arrival Card / Immigration form that needs to be completed in advance.
If it’s online, how early do I need to fill it out before my flight, and do I need to carry a printout or just a confirmation email/QR code? Also, does this apply to all nationalities (I’m an Indian passport holder), and are there any separate requirements for tourists vs. business travelers?
I’d really appreciate if someone who has recently traveled to Sri Lanka could share the latest process — whether it’s paper, digital, or both. Don’t want to be stuck at the airport unprepared. Thanks in advance!
