Hi fellow travelers,
I’m planning my first trip to Kuala Lumpur and I’m super excited, but also a bit overwhelmed! There’s so much to see and do, and I want to make sure I don’t miss the “must-visit” spots while also discovering some hidden gems.
A few questions for those who’ve been there:
Which attractions are absolute must-sees for first-timers? (Temples, towers, parks, markets, etc.)
Are there any lesser-known areas or experiences that gave you a real feel of the city?
How much time would you realistically recommend spending at each spot?
Any tips for navigating the city efficiently—public transport vs. taxis vs. ride-sharing?
And of course, any recommendations for food spots or local delicacies that first-time visitors shouldn’t miss?
I’d love to hear your personal experiences, tips, and maybe even “hidden gems” that don’t always make it into travel guides.
